Notes - Harry Clarence Sr. was born Nov. 6, 1908 in a log cabin in Hardin County, Iowa built by his great grandfather William Lockard. Harry's mother Ethel Lockard and her father Ira Sanford Lockard were also born in the same log cabin. The log cabin has since been removed; however, the house built by Ira Sanford Lockard in 1893 is still standing at the old family farm in Hardin County.
